Our Story
March 2021
It began with a festival
Refluenced was not born in a conference room. The idea came while we were setting up the SunIce Festival in Switzerland. To scale the event, we needed to quickly activate a large number of smaller creators. Outreach at the time was manual. Coordination was chaotic. The existing tools were not designed for true scale. So we built our own tool.

February 2022
Founding of Refluenced
It became clear to us: the problem isn’t unique to festivals. Brands everywhere struggle to activate nano and micro creators in a structured, scalable way. What started as our internal solution became a standalone influencer marketing platform.
March 2022
Lion's Den Swiss
The Refluenced team came to the TV show “Die Höhle der Löwen Schweiz” not only to gain national visibility, but to present their vision and win people over. Our message: Influencer marketing needs infrastructure.

2022
€1 million business angel financing
We secured one million euros in angel investor funding to accelerate product development and scale the platform. Our focus: building real infrastructure for creator activation. Not another database. Not another outreach tool.

Influencer app launch
We launched the Refluenced Creator App, giving thousands of nano and micro creators direct access to brand campaigns. No gatekeepers. No endless emails. Just structured opportunities to collaborate with brands they genuinely identify with.
July 2023
Berlin Office
Mit Zürich als Hauptsitz haben wir 2023 unser Berliner Büro eröffnet, um in Deutschland in eines der dynamischsten Startup- und Creator-Ökosysteme Europas zu expandieren.
April 2025
Expansion into the USA and the United Kingdom
With a growing global creator network, it was time to expand further. Launched at the Influencer Marketing Show in Miami, Refluenced entered the US and UK markets and now supports brands and agencies there as well in scaling Instagram, TikTok, and UGC campaigns in a structured, performance-driven way.

Consumers discover products on TikTok and Instagram before searching on Google. And increasingly, search results are being influenced by social content that appears directly in the SERPs. We are fully focused on social search and help brands get found where purchase intent emerges and buying decisions are made. Creator content is now at the center of visibility, relevance, and discoverability.
